Christian Health Insurance

With the current economic situation and the continued rise in medical costs, it seems as though everyone is looking for a better option for affordable health insurance. One of these options is Christian Health Insurance. The idea for Christian Health Insurance is simple. Families and individuals in search of health coverage pool their money together to pay the medical bills for those in need.

While cutting out the big insurance companies sounds like a great idea, the end result is usually the opposite. Yes, many Christian Health Insurance Plans cost MORE than just buying normal medical insurance.

For example, I am a 32-year-old male and a company like Medi-Share wants $108 a month premium for a $3750 deductible plan! My current plan is $2500 deductible plan an only $89.00 a month.

My best advice is to check on the Christian Health Insurance Plans and then get a Health Insurance Quote through all the major carriers.

Anyone who is a Christian should not necessarily align directly with the Democratic or Republican parties. The fact of the matter is that both major political parties hold some views are in line with Christian principles. For example most Republicans generally tend to be of the pro-life persuasion when it comes to the issue of abortion rights. It can be accurately argued that the pro-life view on abortion is more in line with Christianity. I believe Jesus Christ would agree that all human life is sacred and that includes the unborn who need to be protected.

The arguments against the war in Iraq and the general view of pacifism that is expressed by people like Democratic Representatives Barbara Lee of California and Dennis Kucinich of Ohio tend to be more in line with Christian principles. I tend to believe that Jesus Christ would embrace anti-war and pro-peace views.

People who believe in responsible gun ownership in order to protect and feed your own family for example is generally considered a conservative view, which Republicans agree with. Of course Jesus would want people to only use their gun ownership to protect their lives and their welfare and not as a way to hurt other people.

It is reasonable to say that most Christians believe in giving plenty of their goods to the poor so they can makes the lives of those who have been less fortunate, just a little bit better. Now the question is whether having a progressive income tax, which is something Democrats generally believe in, is the best way to create wealth for the poor or if the best way to go about creating wealth is to cut taxes upon the richest citizens so the rich can provide jobs to the impoverished. This makes tax issues hard for a Christian voter to have a better idea of which major party has their best interests at heart. Some would argue that there is nothing within the teachings of Christianity that say it is a bad idea to keep what you earn, it is something that nearly every Christian and every Christian voter struggles with.

The fact is that Democrats typically seem to take a more aggressive approach as far as protecting the ecosystem within the United States. There are plenty of advocacy groups, such as Republicans for Environmental Protection and the Republican Main Street Partnership, which has a solid record of taking care of God's creations from a Christian perspective.

Issues like the death penalty are also contentious due to the fact that Democrats often oppose the death penalty on moral grounds, but Republicans tend to view the death penalty as a way of bringing in good Christian principles expressing the need for consequences regarding your actions. There are so many issues out there and the truth is that all these matters need to be weighed before someone goes forward with casting their ballot.

We should all be responsible for our own thoughts and opinions, and not strictly aligning our vision with that of any one political party.

How Much Money Do I Save with Christian Health Insurance?
Sadly, many "Christian Health Insurance" companies have very unchristian rates. One company wanted $104 for a plan that Blue Cross offered for $78.00.

We recommend checking all your options. First you should run a Health Insurance Quote.
